ABOUT KIRA MAEVSKA
I’m Kira. I work with crypto founders — where the product moves fast, the technology matters and the legal answer needs to work in practice.

15+ YEARS IN LAW / CRYPTO SINCE 2017
I started working in crypto in 2017. I have worked through its early growth, new business models and the regulatory frameworks that followed. That experience shapes how I approach a project today.
I understand crypto at the business and technical levels: how revenue is generated, who controls the keys, how transactions are executed, and what the interface lets the user do. Those details can determine the legal structure a product needs.
My practice centres on crypto: DeFi, wallets, trading platforms and crypto gaming. I help founders examine regulatory options, choose licensing routes and build structures that reflect how the business actually operates.
I’m comfortable working with high-risk business models. For me, that means looking closely at the risks, questioning conventional structures and finding practical options founders can act on. It’s an approach shaped by crypto.
Where the law and facts support it, I help design models outside the relevant licensing perimeter. That means working on the architecture itself — the activities, control, roles and relationships — and documenting a position the business can operate within.

A PRACTICAL KIND OF LEGAL COUNSEL
You work directly with me, from the first discussion to the decisions that follow.
You get clear options, commercial implications and a view on what to do next. I explain the legal reasoning in language your team can use.
I work through product mechanics with founders and technical teams. A change in control, execution or the user journey can matter as much as a clause in a contract.
We can examine licensing, jurisdiction, entity roles and product architecture together, then choose the route that fits the business and its constraints.
